The Linea de Fuego (LdF)  Section of UPSCA shoots three action pistol matches a month- two are Pala CA at the NCSA range  on the 2nd and 4th Sat of each month. The third match is at Lemon Grove Rod and Gun Club in Alpine ( East County) on the 1st Sat of each month. Every other month there is a 3-gun match on the 4th sat at the Pala range. Match sign up starts at 8:30 AM, but if you can come early you can help builders finish the stages. To get started bring a handgun, a safe holster, must cover the trigger and sufficient magazines and pouches to hold at least 40 rds. Also eye and ear protection are required to shoot at the Pala range. Also bring plenty of water, there is no potable drinking water at either range. First-time match is free, then the non-member fee is 25.00, member fee is 15.00.
