First Sunday of each month.

Practice starts at 8:00am; match at 9:00am. 

Equipment: any rifle 6.5 caliber and down, any weight, any scope, any wildcat cartridges Remember the max bullet weight is 105 to 109 depending on the brand of bullets.

Shot prone with any type of front rest and rear rest. Rear rest must be of pinch bag type no mechanical real rests.

Shooters with medical problems may shoot off bench, bring your bench and it must be small enough to fit in one stall.

Field class bipods front, no rear rest

Monthly matches are 50 shot matches.

FOUR minutes for each five shots and one slighter

NCSA conducts one state varmint rifle silhouette match each year.  See calendar for dates.

Price: monthly matches are $17.00 Feb match the cost will be 17.00 for monthly matches and the State match with awards will have to cost some more. Cost of range operations, replacement steel, trash removal ,head cleaning have all gone up last year .

       

 

 

Attention Varmint Match Shooters                                               New as of June 2006 a 600-yard line to set prairie dogs on.  Starting in July it will be a 50 shot match.  Bring extra ammo to the June match to get you sight settings. Who  will  be  the  first  to  shoot  the  first  perfect 50???
